Reduction of Calorie Intake For Weight Loss

This is not true. While fat does not contain higher calories, they are also needed by the body for its proper functioning and therefore to ensure weight loss the consumption of fats is only to be reduced and not completely eradicated from the daily diet.

There are certain effective ways by means of which it is possible for one to reduce the daily calorie intake and thus enable weight loss. This can be done by introducing minor alterations in one’s daily life and food consumption. Most individuals consume milk daily and in such cases it is usually advisable that one go for skimmed or semi-skimmed milk in order to attain weight loss. Sugar content in beverages like coffee and tea which are consumed more than once within a single day may be reduced or completely eradicated to ensure loss of weight. Smaller proportions of food should be consumed in installments throughout the day whenever one is hungry and one should restrain from consuming huge proportions of food at a time as it contributes to weight gain. Soft drinks or fizzy drinks are detrimental to health if consumed regularly and they should be replaced with water. Alcoholic drinks are also conducive to gaining weight and in these cases calorie intake can be reduced by lowering the rate of consumption of beer and other alcoholic drinks.
