Hair Bleaching Tips and Advice

Hair bleaching is a process which is practiced for lighting the color of the hair. Bleaching hair in home has become nowadays. Since the procedure is very harsh, many people like to pay to the hair care professionals to complete the job.
Approximately the process involved in bleaching depends on the interaction of a developer which is generally hydrogen peroxide with an alkaline agent. When the mixture is executed to the hair, the alkaline solution stimulates the hair to swell up. This process makes the hair particles open and separate. Hence making the dye solution to move into the hair shafts, this in turn changes the color of the hair. The chemical responsible for hair color known as melanin is generally found in the cortex. The chemicals present in the bleach break down the melanin present in the hair and exchange it with the new color represented by the simultaneous tinting agent. Bleaching is considered as one of the permanent hair dying methods because the new color remains in the hair shafts until the growth of new hair.
The main reason to apply these chemicals to your hair is to bleach your hair blond. Making your hair blond is a popular way to hide your grey hair. It is generally difficult to practice bleaching on red hair as compared to dark hair. It is advised to bleach extremely dark hair in stages as much as possible to prevent your hair from damage. Generally, it has been seen that black hair becomes red due to extreme bleaching and then to orange hue, chased by yellow and finally white.
Bleaching the hair in home and saloon is one at a same thing because the chemical used at both places is hydrogen peroxide. But the hair care professional understands the chemical process involved in bleaching much better, and will be able to prevent damage to hair. But if you planed to have a home bleach there is no need to worry, just follow the directions carefully.
You will need a towel to put it on you shoulder. You must wear cloths that can be discarded after bleaching because during bleaching the chemicals will fall on your clothes which destroy them. You must wear plastic gloves while bleaching to avoid any damage.
Now assemble the chemicals as per the directions.  When you take off the process of bleaching always start it at the back of your head with the help of applicator brush. Then work around slowly and then move to the top. To ensure even distribution of the bleach work as quickly as possible.
Skin irritation, redness, itching, burning, blisters or any other bad effect should be checked for. Medical advise should is necessary if any of the mentioned adverse effects occurs.

Think before you go blond with the hair bleach as it may a life changing step in the eyes of many, but it can permanently change the structure of you hair. Alternatively, why not go for an unlike hair color rather than just bleach?
